Happy Birthday CANADA!

Canada is one of the beautiful countries in North America that I love to visit (and hope to settle, as my second home country). Just saying... Well, when will it be? Anytime soon. Hopeful, heh??

Canada Day is frequently referred to us Canada's birthday. It is celebrated throughout Canada and the Canadians internationally.

Why I greeted Canada today? Because of the various reasons:

  • I am working in a Canadian company
  • I have relatives and friends who migrated and live there for good
  • I have great Canadian friends in there too
  • I love to explore the vastness of it and the great things it can offer to foreigners like me (us)
  • I love to learn the language of living


Happy Birthday CANADA! I hope to step on your land soon! :-)

Who's in for a day tour in the south? Cebu is like a second home to me since my move for college more than a decade ago. However, despite my years of existence in the city, I haven't explored the wonders of nature that the Cebu province offers. Without further ado, let me tell you how did I accomplish the trip. My sister and I agreed to go to Tumalog Falls first, eat lunch and a quick dip in DakongBato Beach & Leisure Resort then off to Osmeña Peak. Our itinerary was pretty serious and strict . We took the air conditioned bus from  Cebu South Bus Terminal  for a fare of  Php175 each . We left the terminal around 4:50AM but the bus had to refuel at their station nearby. We officially left the city at 5:10AM and arrived at Tumalog Falls junction at 8:10AM . My Internship Experience

Internship Days! Oh, I missed those days... I can still remember the feeling of receiving my "first salary" from my "first job". But of course, the experience of doing the real work in a corporate world was very fulfilling. I didn't feel like an intern; it felt like real work to me already. I was surrounded by regular employees and reporting to a team lead, then manager. Interns were also required to follow the dress code. It was funny because one day, I wore a high-heeled sandals. While standing at the edge of the road, waiting for a jeepney, one strap was detached. It was the most embarrassing moment but I tried and managed to tie it to the other strap and viola! It worked.
